World’s First Environmental Radio Planet Radio 88fm is the world’s first environmental radio service based in Brisbane Queensland, Australia. It’s narrowcast radio covering the inner city region with licences across the city just waiting for a cash injection so we can cover the whole city. On May 18^th 2007 we opened our second license, now covering Brisbane inner suburbs and Southern Suburbsand available world wide on the internet. (just click on listen to the left) Next, is the re opening of Alexandra Hills and then Kenmore license, then Aspley. We will then open 4 more Brisbane based licenses so that we cover most of the greater Brisbane area. Following that we re open in Caboolture and on Bribie Island then expand to the additional 10 licenses across South East Queensland and Northern NSW. And that’s just the beginning. In time, Planet Radio will be an enormous media operation with outlets all over the world. It is our vision to lead change of the media into a conscious, environmentally aware industry, because that is what is required to make the necessary alterations to the way humanity interacts with this planet.
